SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms govern the text-message programs operated by Docks of the Bay Supply Co. (“DOTB Supply,” “we,” “us”), a Virginia limited liability company. By providing your phone number and giving consent through one of the opt-in points described below, you agree to these terms.
1. Our SMS Programs
We operate two distinct SMS programs. Each requires its own consent and you may opt into one, both, or neither. Opting into one does not opt you into the other.
A. Transactional Order Updates
Order confirmations, payment receipts, shipping notifications, delivery updates, delivery-issue alerts, and direct order-related follow-ups. Frequency: up to approximately 5 messages per order. Opt-in: at the cart page during checkout.
B. Marketing & Promotions
Exclusive deals, new-product announcements, seasonal promotions, restock alerts, and abandoned-cart reminders. Frequency: up to approximately 4 messages per month. Opt-in: at the cart page during checkout (separate from the transactional opt-in).
2. Sender Identity
Messages from programs A and B are sent on behalf of Docks of the Bay Supply Co.
3. Carrier Charges & Compatibility
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge for the messages themselves. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and most other major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. HELP & STOP Keywords
You can manage your participation at any time using standard keywords:
- HELP — Reply HELP to any message to receive program information and contact details.
- STOP — Reply STOP to any message to opt out of the program that sent it. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from that program. Opting out of one program does not opt you out of the other; reply STOP separately to each program if you wish to leave both.

5. Privacy
Your phone number and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use Twilio as our SMS service provider; Twilio processes message metadata as a service provider bound by confidentiality terms. We do not sell phone numbers.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued participation in any program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, reply STOP to opt out of the affected program.
